Comic Heroes: the superhero comics magazine App Reviews

I know people cant be this dumb. Newsstand was always about getting your (paid) magazines cheap and efficiently. And does no one look at In-App purchases? Its right there on the left. Please leave reviews based on the content of a magazine and not because you think you deserve free magazines. I think Apple is going to have to lock non buyers/subscribers from leaving reviews so those of us who understand how the newsstand works dont have to filter the dumb out to find quality reviews.

Would rather buy the actual printed version.

It is not free - only the app which allows you to purchase.

Some of the reviewers here must expect to be able to go into a store and walk about with free magazines... Get a clue guys! The app is exactly like the real magazine just a portal to subscribe ...

Hi like the magazine. But the reading experience is just awful. With all the magazine out on tablets. This a real let down pages dont flip the zoom is a terrible feature its hard to keep your place when reading. Hope they fix I invested in subscription.

Dont advertise something as free then ask for 7 bucks immediately. Thats not the way to sell something. Its a waste of time and just shady.

If im going to pay 30 dollars for a subscription Ill pick up the paper copies! Im not paying full bloody price for digital media when the paper copy is much more rewarding as it is tangible & I get the joy of turning pages myself.

Of course you have to pay for the content! Would you expect to go into a newsstand or bookstore and walk off with their wares for free? This is a business!

@darthnerd Actually what Apple needs to do is stop allowing publishers to advertise something for free that obviously isnt. There may actually be free content here somewhere but well never know because we cant find it.

Although the content might be appealing, the presentation is decidedly not. Its simply a PDF of the full page magazine that involves a lot of zooming and scrolling to read. Id consider subscribing when the content is appropriately formatted for display on the iPad.

No way should digital cost as much as physical. Would never consider paying these prices for this.

It still lists my downloads as new and has the red badge on the Newsstand folder. Annoying

How do I get this crap off my phone??

As of this date, the yearly subscription price for this magazine is $21.69 US on Zinio. Id prefer to subscribe through Newsstand, but the price here is $30.99. Thats too much of a price difference.

Love getting it on iPad easy to get and use an comes with previews plus one free issue.

Lists as "free", but ISNT! Complaining to Apple and posting negative review on my blog! How do I delete it from my NewsStand?

Bought a two issue sub to try it out, but the issue has simply remained in limbo.
